DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE!!!

Well... not exactly, but close enough! Gabi is THRILLED to announce her first professional theatre gig. She will be portraying the infamous singer-comidienne, Fanny Brice (a woman brought into the mainstream by the one and only Barbra Streisand in "Funny Girl") in "Make 'Em Laugh"-- a one-woman show about the life of Fanny Brice herself being produced by "Smile Theatre". This company has made its mark in Southern Ontario by being the only professional theatre company whose soul purpose is to tour and perform at Senior Citizens' Homes across Southern Ontario. There will, however be several performances that will be open to the public so PLEASE stay tuned for more information!

Gabi at the Rex!

It's not until December 3rd, but stay tuned for more information about Gabi's first ever appearance at Toronto's renowned jazz club, The Rex. Mark it in your calendars and PRAY that it doesn't close for good at 11:30 pm December 2nd... I shouldn't even joke about that.

And she didn't even have to audition...

So, here's a funny story. Last week, Gabi got a call from her agent letting her know that she had gotten a small part in a National Kellogs commercial. Here's the funny part. Gabi never actually auditioned for this commercial. The submissions were done online and were based solely on photo. So, there you have it. This biz can work in mysterious ways sometimes... but in any event, watch for Gabi as the girlfriend of a basketball player in an upcoming Canadian National Kelloggs commercial!
